Terms of Service

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract to use the Services. By using the Services you represent that you meet these requirements.

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Subject to these Terms and your payment, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use our software, limited to the seat count tied to your license key. Activation may bind a license to a device via a hardware identifier. You may not:

• share, resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute license keys or the software;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent licensing, security, or technical controls;
• remove proprietary notices or use the software beyond your licensed seats.

You agree not to:

• use the Services to break the law or infringe others’ rights;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
• abuse, disrupt, overload, or probe our infrastructure;
• upload malware or post unlawful, harassing, or infringing content.

The Services, including our software, websites, branding, and content, are owned by segfault labs and its licensors and are protected by law. Except for the license expressly granted above, no rights are transferred to you.

You retain ownership of content you submit (for example, future community posts). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host and display that content solely to operate and provide the Services. You are responsible for content you submit and must have the rights to it.

Purchases are sold by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, which handles payment, billing, and applicable taxes. Prices and any temporary discounts or sale prices are shown at checkout; the price displayed at the time of purchase applies. Completing a purchase authorizes the charge for the selected product. Promotional prices apply only during the stated promotional period.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, or abuse. License keys obtained through fraudulent, reversed, or charged-back transactions may be revoked.

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, segfault labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the product giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold segfault labs harmless from claims and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which segfault labs LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there, except where applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings locally. (segfault labs: set the specific state for enforceability before launch.)

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or sale. These Terms, with the Privacy and Refund policies, are the entire agreement between us regarding the Services.
